Craig Nowrie was appointed client portfolio manager in Threadneedle Investments' multiasset allocation team, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Nowrie will join the firm June 30, based in London, and report to Toby Nangle, head of multiasset allocation.
Mr. Nowrie was previously a senior research consultant at Aon Hewitt, where he covered multiasset, diversified growth, global equity, alternatives and currency. A spokesman for Aon Hewitt confirmed Mr. Nowrie's departure but declined to comment further.
“The recent U.K. pension reforms could be a game changer for fund managers, particularly in multiasset, which provides retiring people with a viable option to invest and manage their pension pots,” Mr. Nangle said in a news release.
