Stuart Sclater-Booth will join Stone Harbor Investment Partners' emerging markets debt team as a portfolio manager, said company spokesman Joshua Clarkson.
The position is new. Mr. Sclater-Booth was a managing director and head of emerging markets desk strategy at Goldman Sachs International.
Beginning June 30, Mr. Sclater-Booth will be a member of the team managing strategies for hard currency, local currency and asset allocation portfolios within emerging markets. He will report to Jim Craige, portfolio manager and head of emerging market debt.
Goldman Sachs spokeswoman Megan Riley did not know by press time whether a replacement for Mr. Sclater-Booth has been named.
