Rhode Island State Investment Commission, Providence, made a total of $48 million in commitments to two industrial real estate funds, said Ashley Gingerella O’Shea, spokeswoman for Rhode Island Treasurer Gina Raimondo, who oversees the commission.
The state investment commission, which manages the $7.7 billion Rhode Island Employees' Retirement System, Providence, approved a commitment of up to $30 million to Exeter Industrial Value Fund III, a North American industrial real estate fund managed by Exeter Property Group.
The commission also committed $18 million to IC Berkeley Partners III, a U.S. industrial real estate fund managed by Industry Capital.
