Lemont (Ill.) Police Pension Fund hired Wall & Associates as its first investment consultant, said Christina Smith, finance director, in an e-mail.
The $11.7 million pension fund invests mainly in bonds. An RFP was issued in November at Ms. Smith's suggestion that the board retain an investment consultant.
All investments are approved by the board.
