Jacksonville, Ark., corrals investment consultant for pension fund

Jacksonville (Ark.) Policemen's Pension and Relief Fund hired EC Financial Group as investment consultant, replacing Morgan Stanley, said Cheryl Erkel, finance director of the $5.74 million pension fund.

Morgan Stanley was the other finalist.

Pension officials began a search in April because Erin Eason, the consultant who worked directly with the city, was leaving Morgan Stanley.
