Oklahoma Police Pension & Retirement System, Oklahoma City, is seeking an independent actuary, according to an RFP posted on the $2.1 billion pension fund's website.
The selected firm will audit the work of current actuary Buck Consultants, according to the RFP.
The proposed audit “will review the most recent annual valuation and experience study for OPPRS to express an opinion and assure that the results presented (by Buck) are sound and reasonable,” according to the RFP.
Interested candidates are asked to submit two bids — a bid for a full-scope audit and a bid for a limited-scope audit, detailing the benefits of full scope vs. limited scope.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. CDT on June 20. A hiring decision is anticipated on July 16.
