Chicago Public School Teachers' Pension & Retirement Fund is seeking a portfolio manager-alternative investments.
Duties for the position include overseeing private equity, hedge funds of funds and other alternative investments.
The duties also include doing due diligence on and monitoring of alternatives managers, auditing fees of alternatives managers and overseeing compliance.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or more than seven years of investment experience.
The $9.7 billion pension fund had about $1.8 billion in alternatives, as of Sept. 30, consisting of real estate, real estate investment trusts, private equity, hedge funds of funds and infrastructure.
The salary range for the position is $57,000 to $91,000.
