Seth Finkelstein will join Schroders as U.S. product manager, portfolio solutions, within the firm’s multiasset and portfolio solutions business, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new, and Mr. Finkelstein, based in New York, will start Monday. He reports to Adam Farstrup, U.S. product manager, multiasset.
The appointment is part of Schroders’ expansion of its multiasset and portfolio solutions business in the U.S.
“(Mr. Finkelstein) has strong skills in both multiasset strategy and solution design, which is very exciting for us as we take another step in building our business in North America,” said Nico Marais, head of multiasset investments and portfolio solutions at Schroders, in a news release from Schroders.
Mr. Finkelstein was previously senior vice president and client portfolio manager at ING Investment Management, now Voya Investment Management, where he also co-founded the multiasset strategies and solutions group, according to a news release from Schroders. Spokesmen for ING were not available to comment by press time.
