Susan Ebenston was appointed chief operating officer at Aviva Investors, a spokesman said.
Ms. Ebenston will be based in London and takes on the role from Ian Davis, interim chief operating officer, who will leave the firm in July. Further details could not be learned by press time.
Ms. Ebenston reports to CEO Euan Munro and her responsibilities include operations, technology and performance measurement across the money manager's global business units.
Ms. Ebenston was most recently chief compliance officer at Westpac Group in Sydney, according to a news release from Aviva Investors. A spokeswoman for Westpac Group could not be reached for comment by press time.
