Montana Public Employees Retirement Board, Helena, hired Buck Consultants as investment consultant for the state's 401(a) and 457 plans, said Patricia Davis, member services bureau chief.
An RFP was issued in March because the contract of incumbent Wilshire Associates expires June 30. Wilshire rebid.
The contract with Buck Consultants begins July 1.
As of March 31, the state's 401(a) and 457 plans had $121 million and $418.6 million in assets, respectively.
