Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System, Oklahoma City, could issue an RFP later this year for a third-party administrator for its $208.5 million 403(b) plan, said Tom Spencer, interim executive director of the $13.5 billion retirement system, in an e-mail.
The board has not formally approved issuing an RFP at this time, but Mr. Spencer anticipates it will be issued by the end of the year.
The retirement system voted on May 21 to extend the contract of incumbent ING U.S. Retirement Solutions for an additional year. The extended contract will expire on June 30, 2015.
