Robert Bee resigned as head of U.K. institutional business development at Schroders, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Bee will leave at the end of July. The spokeswoman said Neil Walton, head of the U.K. institutional business development group at Schroders, will take on all management responsibilities until a replacement is appointed.
Mr. Bee joined Schroders in 2006. “We are sorry to see (Mr. Bee) leave,” said a Schroders statement, provided to Pensions & Investments by the spokeswoman. “We are grateful for his contribution and wish him success in the future.”
Two sources familiar with the situation said Mr. Bee is joining Ashmore Group. Spokesmen for Ashmore were not available to comment by press time.
