Julia Mord was named director in the investment office at Tulane University, New Orleans, said Mike Strecker, university spokesman.
She replaces Sam Masoudi, managing director, who left in December to become chief investment officer at the $7.2 billion Wyoming Retirement System, Cheyenne. She takes on Mr. Masoudi's responsibilities as head of marketable alternatives for the investment office, which oversees the university's $961 million endowment.
She was previously with AI International, a Kuwaiti family office money manager in New York.
