Alex Bacchus was appointed manager, strategic tilting, at New Zealand Superannuation Fund, Auckland.
It is a new position. Mr. Bacchus will take on some of the responsibilities overseen by Neil Williams, who — as previously announced — will leave his posts as chief investment adviser and head of strategic tilting at the end of May to join Brisbane-based Queensland Investment Corp. as managing director, multiasset and investment solutions.
David Iverson, the NZ$25.51 billion (US$21.9 billion) New Zealand Superannuation's head of asset allocation, will likewise assume some of the functions Mr. Williams currently oversees, spokeswoman Catherine Etheredge said in an e-mail.
Mr. Bacchus' previous title was portfolio manager, strategic tilting. He will be replaced in that role, Ms. Etheredge said.
