Edward J. Perkin was named lead portfolio manager of large-cap value strategies at Eaton Vance Management, said spokeswoman Colleen Lavery.
He replaces Michael R. Mach, who will retire on June 30.
Upon Mr. Mach's departure, Eaton Vance Management's large-cap value team will consist of Mr. Perkin and portfolio managers John Crowley and Matthew Beaudry.
Mr. Perkin joined Eaton Vance Management last month as chief equity investment officer. He will remain in this position in addition to assuming Mr. Mach's responsibilities, and will continue to report to Thomas E. Faust Jr., chairman and CEO of Eaton Vance.
