Jonathan Musselwhite joined OMERS Private Equity, the private equity management division of the C$65.1 billion ($59.8 billion) Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, Toronto, as a managing director, according to a company spokesman.
It is a new position and expands the private equity team to 10 investment professionals from nine. Mr. Musselwhite is based in London and reports to Mark Redman, senior managing director and country head-Europe.
Mr. Musselwhite was previously founding partner of pan-European private equity firm Cognetas, which he left in 2012.
