Phoenix Employees' Deferred Compensation Board is searching for a record keeper, according to an RFP posted on the city's website.
The search is being conducted due to the city's regulation that requires services be put up for bid every five years. Nationwide Financial, the current record keeper for both plans, was invited to rebid.
The board oversees the city's $1 billion 457 plan and $258 million 401(a) plan.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. MST on June 16. A three-year contract with two one-year extension options is scheduled to begin on Oct. 16.
Kathy Schelbrock, senior human resources analyst for the city, did not return a phone call by press time.
