Adams County Retirement Plan, Brighton, Colo. rehired Watershed Investment Consultants as its investment consultant, said Pamela Mathisen, executive director at the $225 million pension fund.
The other finalist was Innovest Portfolio Solutions.
An RFP was issued as a best practices decision by the board, Ms. Mathisen told Pensions & Investments in January.
As of March 31, the pension fund had a target asset allocation of 32.5% domestic equity, 25% domestic fixed income, 15% international equity, 10% hedge funds, 15% real estate and 2.5% private equity.
