Guy Dunham was appointed head of global and aggregate for fixed income at Baring Asset Management, a spokesman said.
The position is new. Mr. Dunham is based in London and reports to Alan Wilde, head of fixed income-global. Mr. Dunham manages global and aggregate bond portfolios for institutional clients and will also be involved in managing global pooled bond funds.
Mr. Dunham was head of global and U.K. fixed income at HSBC Global Asset Management. He was replaced by Ernst Osiander.
“(Mr. Dunham) is an accomplished fund manager who has a wealth of experience of managing global fixed-income strategies, and we are pleased to welcome him to the firm as we seek to grow and strengthen this business,” Mr. Wilde said in a news release.
