Geoff Cheetham was appointed head of U.K. institutional clients at Schroders, said a spokeswoman.
The position is new, and Mr. Cheetham joined Monday.
He will manage a team of more than 20 senior staff, servicing 800 clients representing £53.8 billion ($91.1 billion) of assets. He reports to Miles O’Connor, head of European institutional.
Mr. Cheetham most recently was head of consultant relations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at BlackRock. He was replaced by Howard Nowell, who was promoted internally to the position.
Schroders has $446.8 billion in assets under management.
