Thomas E. Deegan was named managing director at Clearbrook Global Advisors, according to company spokeswoman Rosalia Scampoli.
The position is new. Mr. Deegan will be responsible for managing the firm's relationships with its institutional clients as well as developing Clearbrook's discretionary business. He will report to Elliott Wislar, CEO of Clearbrook.
Mr. Deegan was an independent trustee and head of the investment committee at the $170 million Stamford (Conn.) Police Pension Trust Fund. He was replaced by Michael Berkoff, CEO of BevMax and former Stamford Police commissioner, according to pension fund staff member Diane Deegan.
