Hugh Cutler was appointed head of the investor relations group in London at Och-Ziff Capital Management Group, according to sources familiar with the situation.
One source said Mr. Cutler had already started.
Mr. Cutler was head of Europe and Middle East at Legal & General Investment Management; he left last month. At the time, a spokesman for LGIM said the firm was looking for a replacement.
A spokesman for Och-Ziff declined to comment. Further details of Mr. Cutler's role could not be learned by press time.
