Cyrus Driver, a managing director and head of India for Partners Group, was chosen to head the firm's new Mumbai office, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Driver will relocate from Singapore, said the spokeswoman for the Zug, Switzerland-based private equity, infrastructure and real estate money manager.
The Mumbai office becomes Partners Group's 17th office globally.
Mr. Driver said in a news release that Partners Group made two private equity investments in Asia in 2013. A recent decline in valuations has left the company with “a full pipeline” of investments to pursue, he said.
