Tennessee Department of the Treasury, Nashville, is searching for a custodian for the $40 billion Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System.
The Treasury Department is conducting the search due to the contract expiration of current custodian Northern Trust on June 30, according to Blake Fontenay, spokesman for David H. Lillard Jr., state treasurer, who oversees the pension fund, in an e-mail. Northern Trust is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the state government's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on May 30. A contract is expected to be signed on June 24.
