Jacksonville (Ark.) Policemen's Pension and Relief Fund is searching for an investment consultant, said Cheryl Erkel, finance director of the $5.74 million pension fund.
Morgan Stanley, the pension fund's current consultant, is invited to rebid.
The search is being conducted because Erin Eason, the consultant who worked directly with the city, is leaving, said Ms. Erkel.
The request for qualifications is available on the city's website.
Board members will review candidates at their June 5 board meeting; a hiring decision is expected as soon as possible thereafter, said Ms. Erkel.
The deadline for proposals is 5 p.m. CDT on May 16. They should be sent to P.O. Box 126 Jacksonville, Ark. 72078 or to [email protected]. Mailed proposals are preferred.
