Mike Sullivan joined AA Pension Schemes, Hampshire, England, as head of pensions, said a spokesman for the firm.
Mr. Sullivan replaces Adrian Furnell, who was group pensions manager. The spokesman said the pension fund has assets in the U.K. of more than £1.6 billion ($2.7 billion) and about €42 million ($63.8 million) in Ireland. The spokesman didn't have information about where Mr. Furnell went, and Mr. Furnell could not be reached for comment by press time.
Mr. Sullivan was most recently head of employee benefits and pensions at the Veolia U.K. Pension Plan, London. Details about the size of the pension fund and any replacement information could not be learned by press time. Spokesmen for Veolia were not available to comment by press time.
Mr. Sullivan is also chairman of the Pensions Management Institute's professional standards committee. The PMI provides training, qualifications and support services to pension managers and professionals.
