Ross Township Combined Pension Plan, Pittsburgh, Pa., is searching for an active domestic small-cap core equity manager to run $4 million, according to an RFP posted on the website of Morrison Fiduciary Advisors, the $36 million pension fund's investment consultant.
The pension fund will also consider smidcap core equity managers, but the RFP states growth and value managers will not be considered.
The RFP is available on Morrison's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on May 15. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for June 16. A timetable for a decision was not given.
Douglas Sample, township manager, referred questions to Robert J. Bulas, senior vice president and senior consulting analyst at Morrison Fiduciary Advisors, who did not return phone calls by press time.
