Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, committed $50 million to BPE Asia Real Estate Fund on April 25, according to a transaction report on the $23 billion pension fund's website.
The real estate fund is managed by BPE Asia Real Estate, an affiliate of Baring Private Equity Asia Group.
TCDRS has committed or invested a total of $315 million in five alternative investment funds in April to date.
