Alex Tedder will join Schroders as head of global equities, said a spokeswoman.
Mr. Tedder will start in June and is replacing Virginie Maisonneuve, who joined Pacific Investment Management Co. in January as managing director and global head of equities portfolio management. He will be responsible for the global and international equities team's business and report to Peter Harrison, who performed the duties in the interim.
Mr. Tedder was senior vice president and co-head of global and non-U.S. large-cap equity strategies at American Century Investments, where he managed $21 billion and a team of 15, according to a news release. Spokesmen for American Century Investments did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
