Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, Oklahoma City, committed $7 million to Warburg Pincus Energy Fund for its endowment, spokeswoman Angela Caddell wrote in an e-mail.
The endowment trust fund has $661 million in assets.
The Warburg Pincus fund invests globally with an emphasis in energy exploration and production, as well as energy services, mining, power and other natural resources.
