South Carolina Deferred Compensation Program, Columbia, is searching for a bundled provider, wrote Megan B. Lightle, spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
The chosen provider will provide custodial, investment management, communication and education, and record-keeping services for the program, which consists of a $2.6 billion 401(k) plan and $915 million 457 plan, according to an RFP posted on the state’s procurement website.
The search is being conducted because the contract of current provider Great-West Retirement Services expires Dec. 31; the firm is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the state’s procurement website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on May 23. A hiring decision is tentatively scheduled for June 27.
