Michael Ramsey was appointed interim CEO at The Pensions Trust, Leeds, England, said a spokeswoman for the trust.
Mr. Ramsey replaces Stephen Nichols, who resigned from the £5.7 billion ($9.4 billion) multiemployer pension fund in March. In a telephone interview in March, Sarah Smart, chairwoman of The Pensions Trust, said the board expected to appoint an interim CEO until a permanent one can be put in place.
Mr. Ramsey was previously interim CEO of Barbon Insurance, the spokeswoman said. Spokesmen for Barbon Insurance could not be reached by press time.
