Moudy El Khodr and Kris Hermie joined ING Investment Management International as senior portfolio managers for high-dividend strategies, said a spokeswoman for the firm.
Both are new positions. Mr. El Khodr started in mid-April as senior portfolio manager for the U.S. high dividend strategy. Mr. Hermie will start May 1 as senior portfolio manager for the global high dividend strategy. Both report to Nicolas Simar, head of the equity value boutique division at ING.
Both managers are returning to ING after spending about three years at Petercam Institutional Asset Management. Mr. El Khodr managed the North America equity dividend strategy and co-managed the global equity dividend strategy at Petercam. Mr. Hermie managed the Europe equity dividend strategy and co-managed the global equity dividend strategy.
A spokesman for Petercam said the firm had bolstered the dividend teams following Messrs. El Khodr and Hermie's departures. The European dividend strategy is managed by portfolio managers Laurent Van Tuyckom and Ignace De Coene. Mr. Van Tuyckom moved over to the team from a role as a buy-side equity analyst.
The U.S. dividend strategy is now managed by portfolio managers Pablo Queriat and Koen Bosquet. Mr. Bosquet joined the firm from Candriam Investor Group, the Petercam spokesman said. A spokeswoman for Candriam could not be reached by press time.
The global dividend strategy is managed by Messrs. De Coene and Bosquet, and Alexander Roose, a portfolio manager.
