Julian Lyne was appointed head of global consultant relations at Newton Investment Management, said a spokeswoman for the firm.
The position is new. Mr. Lyne will start in July, overseeing Newton's institutional consultant relations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, North America and Asia-Pacific. He will be based in London.
He was head of global consultant and U.K. institutional business at F&C Asset Management. He was replaced by Greg Skinner.
“(Mr. Lyne) brings with him the skills needed to lead the global consultant interactions across our global network … ensuring timely, consistent and cohesive communication with consultants,” said Colin Cowie, commercial director at Newton, in a news release. “The new role will strengthen our current team and provide increased depth and focus to support our growth plans.”
