Maxime Malaure joined Napier Park Global Capital as a director on the European credit strategies team, a spokesman said.
The position is new, said the spokesman. Mr. Malaure is a collateralized debt obligations specialist.
Mr. Malaure joined the $6 billion global alternatives manager from Commerzbank. A spokeswoman for Commerzbank could not be reached by press time for comment on Mr. Malaure's role at the firm.
