Annie Healy was named head of business development and Alison Munro, head of operations, at BESTrustees, Ms. Healy said.
Both are new positions.
Ms. Healy said her role is to help build out the independent trustee firm's brand and to gain new clients, and said she is effectively dealing with a “blank canvas” in her new position.
Ms. Healy was most recently U.K. and Ireland senior managing director at MFS Investment Management. She left late last year. A spokesman for MFS did not respond to requests for comment by press time.
Ms. Munro was most recently at the U.K. Pensions Regulator. A spokesman for the Pensions Regulator declined to comment on Ms. Munro's previous role, and on any replacement.
BESTrustees provides independent trustee services to more than 130 pension funds with total assets of more than £60 billion ($100.1 billion).
