Richard McCready was named president of real estate investment firm The Davis Cos., spokeswoman Sandy Caswell said in an e-mail.
Mr. McCready replaces Corey Griffin, who left the firm. Mr. McCready will lead the day-to-day management and strategic planning of the company. He will also serve as chairman of the executive committee and as a member of the investment committee.
Mr. McCready was chief operating officer and executive vice president of publicly traded commercial real estate finance company NorthStar Realty Finance Corp.
