Alpharetta, Ga., is searching for an investment consultant for its $50 million defined benefit plan, $16 million 457 plan and $10 million 401(a) plan, wrote Thomas Harris, city director of finance, in an e-mail.
The search is being conducted “just to ensure we are receiving a competitive service and achieving the best value for the plan,” Mr. Harris wrote. Current consultant Morgan Stanley is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 10 a.m. EDT on May 9. A timetable for a selection has yet to be determined.
