Bradford G. Thomas was named vice president and head of global consultant relations at Eaton Vance Distributors, said spokeswoman Robyn Tice.
It is a new position. Mr. Thomas will start May 12 and will report to Matt Witkos, president.
Mr. Thomas is currently head of institutional distribution, Americas, at First State Investments. Jamie Twiss, First State managing director, Americas, said Mr. Thomas' last day with the firm will be May 9 and the firm has yet to announce a replacement.
