Brian K. Ratzan joined Centerview Capital as a partner in the private equity firm's consumer business, spokesman Christopher Beattie said in an e-mail.
It is a new position. Mr. Ratzan will co-manage the firm's consumer-sector private equity business with David M. Hooper and James M. Kilts, both co-founders and partners.
Mr. Ratzan was a partner and head of U.S. private equity at Pamplona Capital Management. Stephanie Carter, Pamplona spokeswoman, could not be reached by press time.
