Goldman Sachs is forecasting a 24% increase in the TOPIX over the next 12 months, based on projected earnings per share growth of 21% and 14% in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
In its U.S. Weekly Kickstart research note from April 17, the firm presented its 12-month outlook for a handful of developed markets equity indexes.
Goldman’s STOXX 600 price target is 13% higher than the current level, while its Asia-Pacific ex-Japan and S&P 500 12-month targets are 8% and 4%, respectively, higher than Monday’s levels.
