Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, committed $70 million to EnCap Flatrock Midstream Fund III on April 9, according to a transaction report on the $23 billion pension fund's website.
The private equity fund will invest in companies providing midstream oil and natural gas services such as processing, storing, transporting and marketing.
At the end of March, TCDRS said it committed $1.8 million to natural resources co-investment fund EnCap Energy Capital Fund VIII Co-investors, managed by EnCap Investments. The fund will invest in startup companies involved in North American oil and gas exploration.
