Vincent Gerritsen was named partner at Ancala Partners, said a spokeswoman for the infrastructure investment firm.
It is a new position. Mr. Gerritsen, who will join the firm June 1, will add expertise in investment and operational money management to a 10-person team.
He is currently a senior investment manager on PGGM's infrastructure team. A spokesman for PGGM said Mr. Gerritsen will leave June 1, and the firm is in the process of finding a replacement.
“(Mr. Gerritsen's) investment and asset management experience together with his institutional background will make a significant contribution to our investors and the team, both in terms of our investment and asset management activities and our efforts in forging long-term partnerships with institutional investors,” said Spence Clunie, managing partner at Ancala, in a news release.
Ancala has completed five infrastructure transactions since the firm was founded in 2010, with more than £450 million ($752.4 million) invested.
