Jeffrey C. Holland was named managing director and head of the private client group at Carlyle Group, according to spokesman Randall B. Whitestone.
It is a new position.
Mr. Holland was previously president and chief operating officer at real estate investment trust Cole Real Estate Investments. Cole Real Estate was purchased by American Realty Capital Properties on Feb. 7. Brian S. Block, American Realty executive vice president, treasurer, secretary and chief financial officer, did not return a phone call by press time.
