Martin Harris was appointed head of institutional business at Jupiter Investment Management, said a spokeswoman for the money manager.
It is a new position and is focused on institutional business on a global basis. Mr. Harris started this week, the spokeswoman said.
“Historically, our institutional distribution efforts have been focused on the U.K., but as with mutual funds, our ambitions are global,” said Simon Hynes, global head of distribution at Jupiter, in a news release.
Mr. Harris was most recently head of distribution at Kames Capital. A spokesman said Kames had not yet appointed a replacement.
