Austin (Texas) City Employees' Retirement System is looking for a recruiting firm to conduct a search for a new executive director.
The current executive director, Stephen C. Edmonds, said he will be retiring on Feb. 28, 2015.
Mr. Edmonds has been executive director of the pension fund since September 2003. He said the retirement board hopes to have the new person in place before his departure to allow for a transition period.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. CDT on April 28. Mr. Edmonds said the pension fund hopes to make a decision by the end of May.
