Louisiana Teachers' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, committed up to $75 million to Vista Equity Partners Fund V, a software- and technology-focused buyout fund, said Dana Brown, director of public markets.
It is the first time the $16.3 billion pension fund has committed to a Vista fund.
The pension fund also committed up to $25 million to EnCap Flatrock Midstream Fund III, an oil and gas fund.
Separately, the pension fund's board voted to renew Bank of New York Mellon's contract as custodian. The board had been considering issuing a solicitation for proposals due to the contract's upcoming expiration in August.
