Columbus (Ga.) Consolidated Public Employee Retirement System hired Raymond James Financial as investment consultant, wrote Sandra Chandler, buyer in the city's procurement department, in an e-mail.
The pension fund, which has more than $300 million in assets, issued an RFP in November. Other finalists were incumbent consultant Graystone Consulting and Wells Fargo Advisors. Ms. Chandler did not provide further information.
