Filippo Arcieri was named a principal and senior portfolio manager at Prudential Fixed Income, while Francisco Campos-Ortiz was named Latin America economist at the company, said company spokeswoman Theresa Miller.
The positions are new. Mr. Arcieri joined the corporate bond team and will focus on global corporate portfolios; he will report to Rajat Shah, principal at Prudential Fixed Income. Mr. Campos-Ortiz will report to the firm's chief economist Jurgen Odenius, who heads the global macroeconomic research group.
Mr. Arcieri was co-head of investment-grade credit at Hartford Investment Management Co. Mr. Campos-Ortiz was a research economist with the Mexican Central Bank. Chris Heller, senior vice president at HIMCO, will lead the investment-grade corporates team. He and Mr. Arcieri were previously co-heads of the sector, according to HIMCO spokeswoman Julia Zweig.
