Norwood (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for managers to run $19 million in domestic large-cap growth equity and $16 million in developed markets international equity, according to postings on the website of Meketa Investment Group, the $118 million pension fund's investment consultant.
The plan initiated the search because state legislation requires it to issue RFPs for new contracts every five years, said Debra Wilkes, the retirement system's executive director.
The Boston Co. is the current manager for the domestic large-cap equity portfolio and Euro Pacific Capital, the international portfolio. Both are invited to rebid.
Proposals for the domestic large-cap portfolio must be for U.S.-domiciled commingled funds, mutual funds or separate accounts. Proposals for the international portfolio must be for U.S.-domiciled commingled or mutual funds.
The RFPs can be found on Meketa's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT April 15. Ms. Wilkes did not know a selection date at press time.
